The matchup chapter counts one suit layout. Here every suit layout is counted, then weighted by how many ways it can be dealt. The card-combo column is how many distinct two-hand deals that class covers.
| Matchup | Hand A equity | Card combinations covered |
|---|---|---|
| Ace-king offsuit vs ace-queen offsuit | 74.4% | 108 |
| King-queen offsuit vs king-jack offsuit | 74.0% | 108 |
| Ace-king, either pattern, vs ace-queen, either pattern | 73.6% | 192 |
| Deuces vs ace-king offsuit | 52.6% | 72 |
| Sevens vs ace-king offsuit | 55.0% | 72 |
| Queens vs ace-king offsuit | 56.8% | 72 |
| Queens vs ace-king suited | 54.0% | 24 |
| Tens vs ace-king suited | 54.1% | 24 |
A dominated hand, sharing a card and holding the worse kicker, sits near 26% in the offsuit rows above. That is a worse share than the pair-versus-two-overcards rows, which stay in the low-to-mid 50s for the pair.
These counts are for study and post-session review. Where a row comes from a simulation, the caption names how many deals were run. Where a stack or a pot is made up, the caption says so. None of these figures is an instruction for a live pot.
